I Wonder

I am wondering why it is that we Americans, we Christians are just sitting back and doing nothing about the things going on in this wonderful country of ours.

For centuries, we have fought for our freedom, and for our Christian brothers and sisters, for our churches to have freedom to live for the only true and living God.
Religious freedom is the reason the pilgrims first came to America. Schools were opened so we could read the Bible and learn about God.

What happened America? What happened my Christian brothers and sisters? Why are we are so afraid to speak up? Years ago we allowed one woman, an atheist. An enemy of God to wreak havoc on Christians. Prayers were stopped in schools, at all school games, then reading the Bible was stopped in schools…and we sat by and did nothing.

NOTHING!

How long are we going to sit by and do nothing? September 11, 2001 came and Americans everywhere bowed their heads to pray and cried out to God. Peoples of every nation came together to help one another. Our enemies killed thousands that day. Hundreds of our firemen and women and police officers died trying to save those in the twin towers. Was it for naught?

Wake up! WAKE UP!! America is in serious trouble and the only way to save us is to cry out to God to heal our nation.

Our service men and women are being killed every day. Whether you want to believe it or not, we are fighting the enemy of God. This is a spiritual war. If you don’t believe it, just read the Bible. We are fighting a spiritual battle and God is waiting for YOU to cry out to HIM. The battle is the Lord’s and only HE can save us, but we MUST pray and cry out to God to heal our land and save us. God is ever listening, it is NOT too late. Pray people pray.

God bless us and heal our land. Forgive our sins for they are many, and save us. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

An Open Letter to Our Nation

This is an open letter to our nation and peoples everywhere:

I am wondering why it is that we Americans, we Christians are just sitting back and doing nothing about the things going on in this wonderful country of ours.

How long are we going to sit by and do nothing? September 11, 2001 came and Americans everywhere bowed their heads to pray and cried out to God. Peoples of every nation came together to help one another. Our enemies crashed four airliners and killed thousands that day. Hundreds of our firemen and women and police officers died trying to save those in the twin towers and other crash sites.

I Thank God for You!

I thank God for you, good friend of mine,
Seldom is friendship such as thine;
How very much I wish to be
As helpful as you’ve been to me_
I thank God for you.

When I recall from time to time
How you inspired this heart of mine,
I find myself inclined to pray,
"God bless my friend this very day"_
I thank God for you.

Of many prayer requests, one thou art
On whom I ask God to impart
Rich blessings from His storehouse rare,
And grant to you His gracious care_
I thank God for you.

So often at the throne of Grace,
There comes a picture of your face,
And then instinctively I pray
That God may guide you all the way_
I thank God for you.

Some day I hope with you to stand
Before the throne at God’s right hand,
And say to you at journey’s end,
Praise God, you’ve been to me a friend_
I thank God for you.

The Folded Napkin

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.

The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly
Folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.

Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the
Tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.

She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus
Loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!'

Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.

Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen Wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.

Was that important? Absolutely!

Is it really significant? Yes!

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to
Understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had
To do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition.

When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that
It was exactly the way the master wanted it.

The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just
Out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would
Not dare touch that table, until the master was finished.

Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe
His fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that
Napkin and toss it onto the table.

The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the
Wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.

But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid
It beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because.....

The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'

He is Coming Back!!
